RevoluGen has utilised the Fire Monkey chemistry to develop magnetic beads proof of concept workflows on robotic instruments from different suppliers such as Firefly (SPT Labtech), oKtopure (LGC Biosearch) and Kingfisher (ThermoFisher Scientific) for the extraction of high quality HMW-DNA from mammalian and bacterial cells.  Level of automation is dependent on machine specifications ranging from full (Firefly) to semi (oKtopure, Kingfisher) automation generating in every case excellent ONT long read sequencing data.
